A construction worker working at a North Dakota construction site is lucky to be alive after he accidentally shot himself with a nail gun on February 1.

According to the St. Paul (Minnesota) Pioneer Press, doctors from the National Brain Aneurism Center at St. Joseph’s Hospital in St. Paul have removed a 3 ¼ inch nail which went in 2 ¾ inches into the brain of Jeff Luptak.

Luckily, the nail reportedly penetrated in between the right and left lobes of his brain.

GoodLawd, this is one lucky man! Even though he’s having some difficulty with walking and sensation in his leg, he’s expected to recover fully.
