A man has been arrested in Pennsylvania on Saturday for stealing marijuana right under the nose of a police officer who spoke to him.

According to authorities, David Allan Thompson, 27, has been arrested for taking a bag of marijuana from a police station.

The man apparently was at the a station in Charleroi when the police officer he was talking to went out for a bit to get something from his patrol car.

When the officer returned, the man was gone and so was a bag of marijuana confiscated in another case.

“I just couldn’t help myself. That bud smelled so good,” Thompson said, according to the Washington Observer-Reporter.
