Did you know you can get a DUI charge while driving a lawn mower? Yes you definitely can as a man from Florida just did after police stopped him this Tuesday while driving his lawn mower under the influence.

According to The Ocala Star-Banner, 68-year-old James David Gray was pulled over by police in Citra, Florida after he drove his lawn mower in the wrong lane of a residential street.

He reeked of alcohol, the authorities said, had bloodshot eyes and even had a cold one on the cup holder of the vehicle.

The publication says that Gray has been depressed because his disability check and the money he gets from mowing other people’s lawns have not been enough for him to live by.

He makes about $300 per month using his lawn mower and gets a $459 disability check.

The senior is forthcoming though about needing to go to rehab. He says: “I need to get into a long rehab program.”
